2. IX Pride Games
From basketball to volleyball, the ninth edition of Pride Games will take place from June 23 to June 25. Anyone is more than welcome to sign up for any event and there are sports located throughout the city; so as well as playing fun games and meeting new people, you also get to explore Madrid.
3. Diversity Race
This year sees the first ever Diversity Race for the LGBT Community. The race, on 25 June, will pass by some of the most iconic areas of Madrid, like the Paseo de la Castellana to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. You can choose to either run the 5K or the 10K and you can sign up for it through Carrera de la Diversidad, who are the sponsors of the race. Get your running shoes on!
4. World Pride Park
The World Pride Park this year is one of the newest attractions of Pride week in Madrid. It is located in Puente del Rey and will be open from June 28 to July 2. There are four main parts: an area to get more information about the LGBT community; the stage and audience section, where there will be dancing and theater performances as well as other workshops; and the food truck area, which will be perfect for relaxing with friends and family while enjoying some food.
There is also a great area for kids to hang out with their families with Legos, face painting, and even break dancing!

The winner will be chosen by a select panel and scores will be judged on personality, appearances, their level of commitment to the LGBT values and more. It will take place on June 30 in the Puerta del Sol and will be one of the key parts of the pride celebrations this year.
6. World Pride Parade
The World Pride Parade will be the largest the LGBT community has held in the world. The parade will take place on July 1 and starts in Atocha Station, going all the way to Plaza de Colón. The streets will be filled with about 2 million people and around 40 floats so this is going to one of the biggest street parties Madrid has ever seen!
