Singular Box

Singular boxIf traditional gyms usually end up boring you, then it’s time for you to try out Crossfit! This popular sport is the enemy of routine and it challenges athletes with different workouts every day. Located near metro Ventas, here you’ll find a 1,400m2 space in which you will practice weightlifting, gymnastic and strength exercises, and many other things. It costs €95 per month and you can attend as many classes as you want to.

Arsenal

ArsenalLocated really close to our school, this gym is exclusively for women and it is one of the most modern and exclusive gyms in Madrid. It costs a cool €154 per month and the membership allows you to access the TWO pools (including a rooftop one – perfect for summer!) and classes such as pilates, aqua fit, yoga, step, etc. Can you think of anything better than chilling at the gym’s pool during the sunny days in Madrid?

Holiday Gym

This popular and modern gym offers group classes such as Body Jam, Flamenco, Body Pump, Yoga, and zumba, among many, many others! There are many Holiday Gym locations all around Madrid and once you have your pass you can train in all of them. The price for a month is around €49 and they often have great deals available!

Apart from gyms, in Madrid you can find a multitude of outdoor spaces where to practice sports, such as:

Retiro:

One of the most famous parks in Madrid that has also become a perfect park for sports. Join Madrileños for running, cycling, yoga, rollerblading or outdoor sports.

El Templo de Debod:  

From the most athletic to those who spend hours sitting contemplating the views of the Casa de Campo, El Templo de Debod is ideal for disconnecting. There you can run, skate, do yoga or get together with any group of athletes who usually go there.

Dehesa de la Villa: 

This parks in located on the north side of the city, near the Cuatro Caminos metro station. It extends over 60 hectares, so it is absolutely large! Here you will find mostly runners. However this place is also perfect to just go for a walk and enjoy fresh air.

Parque Madrid Río:  

It is not strictly a park itself, but it is a perfect place to practice outdoor sports. The extensive trails and beautiful landscapes make it an attraction worth visiting. The atmosphere is still quite urban and you will definitely feel connected to the city, which makes it a pleasant place. In addition, it is part of the cycling route of Gran Madrid.

Casa de Campo:

La Casa de Campo is the largest green space in Madrid. With almost 10 square kilometers of extension, it is perfect for small bike routes, running or even for light walks.
