Halloween has grown in popularity in recent years in Spain. After New Year’s Eve, it’s the second busiest night out of the year! We’ve put together a list of popular parties and festivities that are happening in the city so you can start making some spooky Halloween plans in Madrid well in advance!
1. Haunting Halloween Parties
Madrid is renowned for its nightlife, and Halloween night isn’t going to disappoint. Dust off the cobwebs, and start cracking those bones, as it’s time to show off your rendition of Thriller and BOOgie on the dancefloor.
FABRIK
FABRIK will be celebrating Halloween on the earlier date of Saturday October 29th. Be careful with this one, you might still be recovering on the 31st as FABRIK is a 5-floor club located in an industrial estate in Humanes de Madrid. Elrow is the main event on the night, but there are more acts to be announced. Entry is €30, which includes 2 drinks (spirits included) if you arrive before 20.00h. Click here
IT at Fucking Mondays
IT at Fucking Mondays (excuse my language, but it’s the name of the club ;)) promises to be a super fun night. Entrance is €25 if you book in advance and includes one ticket, but if you really want to make a night of it, they offer packages that include bottles of alcohol for the table and VIP access. Stranger ICON
ICON will be hosting a Stranger Things themed party. If you follow Eleven and the boys on their spooky adventures on Netflix, then this is the party for you! Entrance is €25 in advance with a drink so make sure to book your tickets asap! Click here
B12
B12, a nightclub located in Chamartin by Nuevos Ministerios metro station, promises a terr(ori)fic night with Zombies, clowns, ghosts, surprises, and a creepy music mix curated by their in-house DJs. Click here

2. Scream at the Cinema and Theater
There’s something so special about the cinema at Halloween. Grab some (trick or) treats, a bucket of popcorn, and get your eye covers and earplugs at the ready.
Palacio de la Prensa
Palacio de la Prensa is screening Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice, 30 years after its original release. Prior to the screening, author Oscar C. Segura will be signing copies of his book 80 Rebobinados and he´ll be joined by Gerardo Sanchez, director of Dias de cine on TVE, and author of the prologue. Other Cinemas
Other cinemas in the city will also have you quaking in your boots. Billboards this Halloween will display Halloween Night, the sequel to the 1978 cult film in which Michael Myers returns and Nightmares 2: Halloween Night, where monsters come to life and decide to keep Halloween forever.
Theatre
If your screen time is higher than you’d like to admit, Madrid´s theaters can give your poor eyes a break. Rocky Horror Show, Anastasia the musical, Shakespeare’s A Midsummer night’s dream, Billy Elliott the musical, and Orwell are just a few names of the shows that will be taking to stages in theaters around Madrid this spooky season.
3. Fun for the family
Parque de atracciones
Parque de atracciones are summoning the bravest of the brave to enter their gates this Halloween. The park offers visitors a choice of five thrilling experiences. Have you got leading character energy? Ever dreamt of starring in ‘The Walking Dead’?… Yeah me neither. But it’s Halloween so. lights, camera action! If you’re taking little ones, they’ll have a choice of musical productions, such as Nickelodeon Let’s Party, Ghostbusters, or Paw Patrol, as well as street shows and face painting. Click here

4. Fancy Dress around Madrid
Most Bars and clubs will mark the occasion in their own way. One thing’s for sure, the dress code everywhere will be fancy dress. (Pumpkin) Spice things up, and get competitive. Vote amongst your friends for the best dressed, and award the winner a bottle of BOOze. That´ll spark their creativity.
