There are plenty of public swimming pools in Madrid to escape the summer heat and chill with your friends while going for a swim. You can spend the whole day there and even have lunch or a drink, since almost all of the have cafeterias for you to take a break from the sun. Tickets are 5€ per day and if you want to purchase the monthly pass it’s between 30-35€. The pool is pretty big and there’s plenty of space for you to lie down on your towel and sunbathe. It opens every day from 11 am to 8 pm, June to September, and there are tons of students that go. The price for a one day ticket is 5€ and you must bring some ID to enter. There’s a bar for you to grab something to eat or drink and they also have changing rooms and lockers.

With over 300,000 square meters, this is one of the biggest recreational centres in Madrid. The pool is surrounded by green areas for you to sunbathe and while you are there you can also enjoy other sports such as archery, tennis or rugby.
